Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Bumper (the Mac desktop app and related websites and services) provided by Mojave Technology Corp, LLC (“Mojave,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using Bumper, you agree to these Terms.
1. The product
Bumper is a developer tool for visualizing and controlling AI agents in your codebase: agent graphs, guardrails, terminals, MCP integrations, and an in-IDE browser. Core use is local-first and bring-your-own-key (BYOK). Optional cloud workspaces may require GitHub authentication.
2. License
Subject to these Terms, Mojave grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Bumper for your own development purposes. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the Bumper application except as allowed by applicable law or a separate written agreement with Mojave.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for API keys, model usage costs, and provider terms.
- You are responsible for code, commits, and actions agents take under your direction.
- You must have rights to any repositories or projects you open in Bumper.
- You will not use Bumper to violate law, infringe others’ rights, or attack systems you do not own or have permission to test.
4. Acceptable use
Do not abuse cloud infrastructure (if used), attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use Bumper to distribute malware. We may suspend cloud access for abuse or security risk.
5. AI output disclaimer
Agent suggestions, edits, and tool results can be wrong or incomplete. You must review outputs before relying on them in production. Bumper’s guardrails and permission prompts reduce risk; they do not eliminate it.
6. Intellectual property
Bumper, its branding, and associated materials are owned by Mojave or its licensors. Your project content remains yours. Feedback you send may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
7. Third-party services
Model providers, GitHub, MCP servers, and other integrations are governed by their own terms. Mojave is not responsible for third-party services.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Bumper is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those places, disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mojave and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of Bumper. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Bumper will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid Mojave for Bumper in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).
10. Termination
You may stop using Bumper at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to cloud services for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive termination.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
